What does HandleThat actually do?
HandleThat is a desktop app that listens during your meetings, reads the documents you care about, and remembers what matters — so you stop manually keeping track. Chat anytime to recall, draft, or analyze; turn on Do It Live during meetings for real-time intelligence.
What stays on my machine versus what goes to the cloud?
Your conversations, documents, transcripts, and profile (the AI's notes about you) all live in a local database on your computer. AI processing uses encrypted connections to Anthropic — your prompts transit the cloud to get a response, but nothing about them is retained server-side. We don't see your content, ever.
What AI model do you use?
Claude Sonnet 4.6 from Anthropic for chat and reasoning, OpenAI text-embedding-3-small for semantic search, and Deepgram for meeting transcription. If you already have your own Anthropic API key, you can use it directly (see BYOK below) and skip our usage caps entirely.
Is HandleThat available on Mac?
Not yet — we're Windows-only at launch. Mac support is on the roadmap. Drop your email on the waitlist below and we'll let you know when it's ready.
What if I already have my own Anthropic API key?
Use BYOK — it's free forever. You bring your own Anthropic API key, your usage is billed directly by Anthropic, and you get the full feature set with no caps from us. Sign up, then paste your key in Settings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel from your account dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. If you're unhappy with HandleThat for any reason, reach out and we'll work it out.
